So I finally got a Flickr account! I don't anyone who has one, so if you do... become one of my contacts! I'm always the first person I know who gets any social media account, so I'm sure I will be able to soon bring friends to the Flickrverse. I love being the first of my friends to dive into a social media site, as I did with Xanga, Myspace, Facebook, Blogger, Twitter, etc. It makes me feel cool to be fully versed in something while others are struggling to understand. Plus I love teaching people new things on the web! =]

I personally don't like Flickr. The front-page reminds me of photobucket, which makes me think, "I already have three of these; why get another one?"
Plus, there's the whole matter of having photobucket, buzznet/FOE, facebook, xanga, greatestjournal, livejournal, deadjournal, myspace, this thing, twitpic, etc... which means more creepers taking my pictures and manipulating them like creepy McCreepersons. Ha-ha! I don't know how many times I have found this one picture alone that I have of myself with Gerard Way with me cut out of it and the picture all edited and sparkly, usually with hearts and stuff around it. But, hey-- it was a featured picture on Buzznet once, what can I expect? Hah!
I love having a strong web-presence, but- at the same time- when I can google my name and actually find results now; it becomes a bit scary.

I'm not a big Photobucket fan... So Flickr is just right for me! I need some sort of photo-storage site other than Facebook. Especially because Facebook doesn't save the original size/quality of the photo. Plus I need more social media sites, because I have NONE of those journals you listed... And no one ever steals my pictures (that I know of...) so I'm good!
I love being able to Google myself! Haha, it makes me feel important. But that is very weird about your picture with Gerard... What's equally weird is the fact that someone would put glitter and hearts on a picture of Gerard Way... =]
I have Flickr...I've had it for a while but it has done about as much for me as my blog and Twitter have...which is nothing. I just fail at new media. In any case, it's at least somewhere that I can post photos on the off chance that I need to link someone to them at some point.
